Royal Montrose Golf Club held its highly
successful Bicentenary Men's Senior Open on Friday 7th May over the
Montrose Links Medal golf course. The event encountered bright but
blustery conditions which made the links course a true test. With
the bright sunshine and the broom being in full bloom, this
traditional links course was showcased to its best on the day.

visiting golfers from Aberdeen and the USA.

The competition proved yet again to be
extremely popular, being oversubscribed, and attracting a high
quality field of over 130 players with over 60 different clubs being
represented from all over Scotland.
